Went for a smoky look today using the Smashbox Masterclass III palette! I got it for my birthday from my grandma and I’m loving it. My birthday was the 9th so maybe I’ll do a post of the makeup stuff I got, maybe some reviews, too.
There aren’t really any dark shimmery neutrals, so I went pretty heavy on the black and grey shadows. On my lid, I’m wearing a combination of Flirt and Topaz, Smoke and Blackout in the crease blended out with Pebble, and Vanilla as my brow highlight. I primed with Urban Decay Primer Potion and my mascara is Too Faced Better Than Sex.
I really like this palette so far. The Smashbox eyeshadow formula isn’t my favorite, but the mattes blend really well and this is perfect for travel. It’s very professional looking in my opinion, so happy to have it in my collection!
Posting about this here because it’s makeup related and just had to share because I was about to get really mad and upset about a beauty guru making light of a serious disease for the purpose of a Fault in Our Stars Halloween costume but it was not what I was expecting and I’ve got so much respect for this chick right now for making this creative amazing video and showing people how to be respectful:
PSA: Don’t dress up as Hazel and use her illness as a costume, please.
Which are better in your opinion, Mac brushes or Sigma brushes?
A review/collection video of the highlighters I own (:
